Yesterday was a HOG day. Today, we went out and played in the dirt.
We arrived at the main parking lot at Hemingway Butte around noon. It was pretty busy for a Friday, but then its Spring Break and April Fools Day to boot. How do you spell fun? Perfect trails with no mud or dust, just lots of great traction.
Here is a shot of the east side hill climbs. Wow, not a soul on them either!
Off we go on what would be a 25 mile loop. 10 miles of single track and 15 miles of ATV trails.
Finally, a shot looking out on the valley from a spot between Hemingway and Rabbit Creek.
Again, a spectacular day. We didn't see a soul till we got back to the parking lot. I just don't see the fun in parking lot racing and most of those folks never get 500 yards away from their trucks. Oh well, keeps the trails open and clear for us!
