Kathy and I loaded up "The Beast" and headed to Succor Creek to join with the BTR on their Saturday morning ride. We all unloaded at the junction of Succor Creek State Park and Fisherman's Road. We headed up the ridge to the west where the main group turned north for the reservior while Kathy and I headed south to 3 Fingers Rock.

Here is our first view looking south:

As we get further down the trail, 3 Fingers Rocks starts to come into view:

Another few miles or so and we get our closet shot before we turn east and head back down to the main canyon. It was getting really windy and cold up on top:

We get down to the main gravel road and follow it into the canyon. It was still early in the year so nothing has greened up much, but is was still impressive:

More shots of the canyon:

We stop at the small State Park for lunch where I notice that they've replaced the bridge to the Antelope Springs trail. Here is a shot looking up to the start of the trail:

We start up the trail and here is a shot looking back at the State Park:

Finally, the last shot of the day looking down at the main road/canyon from the Antelope Springs trail:

We worked our way north, all the way to Graveyard Point, then followed the power lines back to Succor Creek. All in all we did about 60 miles.

Here is a GPS track of our ride:

We had a lot of fun as we haven't been on this loop for about 5 years or so! 8-)

Awesome pics as usual, It doesn't look like it was too dusty out there. 60 miles is getting to the upper end range of the Outlanders. The most I have gone on mine was around 70 mils and it was needing some fuel. I was thinking about buy some fuel packs for longer rides.

The longest I have ridden on the 650 is Mores Creek Summit to Pioneerville and back, I think round trip that was close to 70 miles. The fuel light was on when I got back.
