Another Kuna Trail Riders Owyhee Trail Cleaning has now come and gone and we had a blast! We even got in some really narly single track dirt bike riding as well and I have the bruises to prove it. Gotta say that Kathy cleaned my clock this time!

Didn't get a lot of pictures this year since we were having some much fun riding, cleaning, and EATing with everybody. I'm going to have to hit the gym every day next week after that feed I'll tell ya!

First up, probably the best full-on panorama I've ever shot of Diamond Basin:

We back up the mountain a little further and I get this shot of Kathy looking north east:

Now, here's a shot with Kathy, the "Beast", and all the peaks above Silver City:

Finally, we circle around and drop down Sand Canyon to the Murphy-Reynolds road:

I don't let Kathy take many pictures of me unless I'm all covered up. I break too many camera optics!

Again, a great trip with lots of riding, cleaning, and eating. Did I mention eating? I'm still full!

Looks like fun. You got the Big Yellow ATV out for a ride! I need to get mine ready to ride. I have been a slacker!

We very seldom ride the "Beast". It's 7 years old now and has 1700 miles on it.

Worst quad I ever owned.

Really? I have not had too many issues with mine. My only gripe is the speedometer gets water in it easy, needs skid plates, and I don't like that the dealer is the only one that can clear error messages from the display...

Yeah, our speedo will cloud up on a warm day and totally fog over on a cold one.

My gripe is the 4WD pump which will drop out when I let go of the throttle. It also is extremely roll over prone give the almost vertical mounting position of the shocks. It was definetly made for comfort, just not any serious riding conditions. Stay on normal/groomed atv trails and it does just fine.

So your an IT guy. I'll do the hardware interface if you can tell me how to connect to the vendor unique, diagnostic port. I do all my own maintenance, including valve adjustments, and it would sure be nice to be able to clear all the error messages that prompt you to take it to the dealer every 15 minutes!

Yeah, I agree with you, this ATV is not designed for extreme riding, its more like a plush jeep. I was looking into the ability to clear the codes and I found that it uses a automotive Can Bus system. I found that this company is working on a system for the ATV's but right now they just have it for the Ski-Doo and Sead-Doo products.

I also found this website that will sell you license keys for the CanAm MPI II interface if you can find one on ebay.
